Product description

Bodega Garzón is a family-owned winery in Maldonado on the Atlantic coast in southern Uruguay. They pioneered viticulture in this area over 10 years ago, and have since become the standard-bearer for premium wines from Uruguay. In November 2018, their pioneering status was recognised by Wine Enthusiast with the ‘New World Winery of the Year’ award.

Once again, the 2021 vintage showed the true potential of the terroir, obtaining high quality wines in a year in which the weather conditions were very diverse. Winter 2020 adjusted itself to the weather, presenting low temperatures that allowed an even budding throughout our vineyard. Spring was extremely dry, so it required the use of drip irrigation to maintain proper foliage development. There was a good vegetative development, optimal flowering with a good number of clusters, properly ripened and large sized. The beginning of summer offered excellent conditions, the veraison of the grapes coincided with days of great thermal amplitudes, thus resulting in grapes with very good levels of colour and health. Towards the end of February and during March, the rainfall was persistent and frequent, challenging the virtues of the terroir. It was essential to achieve adequate quality levels to benefit from the natural drainage of our soils and the correct management of the canopy, maximizing the ventilation of the clusters exposed to the sea breezes.

Returns

How long do I have to return an item to you? We will accept returns up to and including 7 days from the day of delivery.

How do I return an item? Simply return the item to the following address within the specified time, using any postal service. Remember to use a service that requires a signature and includes insurance as responsibility remains with you until we have signed for it.

Remember to enclose the printed returns note with your item or it may delay processing.

We try hard to accept all returns but returns must be in original packaging and in original condition. In the unlikely event that an item is returned in an unacceptable condition the item may be returned to you.
