Chateau Mahon-Laville 2019, Bordeaux Superieur

Product description

Jean-Christophe`s original 1.3 hectares of red grape varieties are located at Laville on a plot of land called Mahon, hence the name. Soils are predominantly clay and the average age of the vines 15 years old. The wine is a blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and it is startlingly good for a Bordeaux Rouge at this price. The work that goes into it - leaf plucking to expose the fruit, crop thinning at veraison to lower yields and aid ripeness, hand picking, three weeks on skins followed by 12 months in vat - merits a higher price.

Tasting Notes
Good colour, a classic nose and ripe, supple fruit on the palate with the sort of grip on the finish that reminds you that you are drinking a claret.

Returns

How long do I have to return an item to you? We will accept returns up to and including 7 days from the day of delivery.

How do I return an item? Simply return the item to the following address within the specified time, using any postal service. Remember to use a service that requires a signature and includes insurance as responsibility remains with you until we have signed for it.

Remember to enclose the printed returns note with your item or it may delay processing.

We try hard to accept all returns but returns must be in original packaging and in original condition. In the unlikely event that an item is returned in an unacceptable condition the item may be returned to you.
