Product description

Folklore has it that Danie de Wet’s ancestor travelled back from Burgundy with clones of Chardonnay tucked away in his trouser pocket. Their heritage can be traced back to 1694 when their forefathers settle in the cape and today the wine estate is run by Danie and his two sons, Johann and Peter.

A truly family run business, Lesca de Wet, runs the marketing side of the company; indeed she has one of Danie’s award winning Chardonnays named after her.

Located in the Robertson Valley overlooking the Breede River, the De Wetshof Estate creates a range of wines shaped by the diversity of site specific vineyards which are exposed on the slopes to the region’s chalk and limestone soil.

In 2016 Danie received the prestigious 1659 Honorary Award, the recipient of which is chosen by a panel of wine industry stalwarts and presented to an individual who has created a legacy and played a profound role in the South African wine industry.

Postal Delivery

Standard delivery is £9.99 and may take up to 10 working days, although under normal circumstances your order should be delivered within 3-5 working days.

Free delivery on all orders with a value over £200 to a single delivery address for UK mainland destinations.

Returns

How long do I have to return an item to you? We will accept returns up to and including 7 days from the day of delivery.

How do I return an item? Simply return the item to the following address within the specified time, using any postal service. Remember to use a service that requires a signature and includes insurance as responsibility remains with you until we have signed for it.

Remember to enclose the printed returns note with your item or it may delay processing.

We try hard to accept all returns but returns must be in original packaging and in original condition. In the unlikely event that an item is returned in an unacceptable condition the item may be returned to you.
