Amarone Classico 3CRU is made from hand-picked grapes from our three Cru vineyards of Calcarole, Pojega & Rovereti. After the grape drying period the wine undergoes a long fermentation followed by three years matured in oak and is normally released in the 4th year following harvest. In only its 2nd vintage (2012) 3CRU won Best Amarone at the Decanter World Wine Awards and vintages since have received multiple accolades from the international press.

Expectations were already high for the 2016 and the results merit the vintage, full of ripe, dark fruit and spice, this is a silky smooth 3CRU with plenty of weight and concentration but all the time maintaining balance and freshness.

In 1649 Carlo Rizzardi from Toscolano Maderno arrived in Valpolicella and bought the property of Pojega with the nearby vineyards of Calcarole and the estate of Rovereti added later. He built the cellar of Pojega and produced the first Rizzardi labels in 1678. Later in 1783 Antonio Rizzardi created the garden of Pojega, still famous in the world for the wonderful perspectives of its design “all’italiana” and for its renowned theatre in Boxwood and for Villa Rizzardi, restored later in the 1850’s.

Standard delivery is £9.99 and may take up to 10 working days, although under normal circumstances your order should be delivered within 3-5 working days.

Returns

How long do I have to return an item to you? We will accept returns up to and including 7 days from the day of delivery.

How do I return an item? Simply return the item to the following address within the specified time, using any postal service. Remember to use a service that requires a signature and includes insurance as responsibility remains with you until we have signed for it.

Remember to enclose the printed returns note with your item or it may delay processing.

We try hard to accept all returns but returns must be in original packaging and in original condition. In the unlikely event that an item is returned in an unacceptable condition the item may be returned to you.
