Polytech OAT Antifreeze Coolant (Red)

Product description

Polytech Red Long Life Anti-Freeze and Summer Coolant is a methanol-free formulation incorporating Organic Acid Technology (OAT).

It is suitable for all engine types, providing exceptional all year round protection and performance in all driving conditions.

Polytech Red Anti-Freeze is blended from concentrate which meets BS6580 (1992) and contains anti-corrosion additives which can be left in the system as a coolant and inhibitor against rust for up to a maximum of 5 years or 100,000 miles.

Directions For Use:

Drain and flush the cooling system with water.

Check all hoses, clips and joints for leakage and tighten or replace where necessary.

Refer to vehicle manufacturer’s handbook for total volume of the cooling system.

Remove radiator cap and pour 1.5 litres of clean water coolant.

Add anti-freeze to a volume equal to the required v/v solution of the
coolant system capacity (depending on protection desired).

Top up with clean water to recommended fill level.

Replace cap and run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature to remove any air locks.

Switch off engine and allow to cool.

Remove radiator cap and top up with water if necessary and replace cap.

Always consult the manufacturer’s handbook.

For protection in general UK conditions use a 1:1 v/v solution (1:1 A/F : Water). For optimum freeze protection down to
-35ºC use 2:1 v/v solution (2:1 A/F: Water).
