M - Shoe size 5 - 7 & approx. leg length from heel 13" - 14" (33cm - 36cm)

L - Shoe size 8-10 & approx. leg length from heel 14" - 15"+ (36cm - 38cm+)

XL - Shoe size 10 + & approx. leg length from heel 16" (41cm)

Delivery

Dispatch

We try to dispatch orders as soon as possible, normally between 12 -  48 hours. At our very busy times, such as just before Christmas, this will take longer as the elves start to get very busy, so please do allow us a little more time on these occasions. If your goods are out of stock we will email or telephone you and see if there is an alternative product that we can send.

Orders received after 1pm will be despatched the next working day. Orders received after 1pm on a Friday will be despatched the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday).

NEXT DAY DELIVERY is on the next working day so all orders despatched on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday). There are no courier deliveries on weekends but Saturday deliveries can be arranged at an extra charge. Please contact us for this facility.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY UPDATE We can no longer guarantee that 'next day delivery' will actually mean your order will be delivered the next day due to the current problem with couriers and shortage of drivers. Our apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.

April 2022 - Please note that there are multiple options (Royal mail 1st or 2nd class, Parcel Force 24/48hr, next day courier) for delivery charges when placing your order. There is a drop down menu for delivery options on the checkout page. Please contact us if you require any further information.

Delivery Address

If you would like delivery to be made to an alternative address, such as a works address or a neighbour, please fill in this information at the 'delivery address' stage during the checkout. If your goods are to be a gift to somebody else please let us know during checkout and we will omit the price from the delivery documents and invoice.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are, unfortunately, these days not cheap. We try very hard to be fair to all our customers and keep delivery charges to a minimum. We have not tried to hide delivery charges in 'free' delivery or one charge for everybody as ultimately it is you, our customer, who would have to pay for this. We would rather be honest about delivery charges and charge our customers what it actually costs us to deliver each order. We therefore use a mixture of Royal Mail and a courier service dependent upon the weight and size of the package. We have given an indication of the carriage charges above but the exact cost will be automatically calculated using the cheapest method during checkout. There are choices for Royal Mail (1st or 2nd class), 48 hour or next day courier for the UK and a courier service for overseas orders. If you have any preference for the method of delivery that is not offered please let us know and we can manually calculate the shipping charges and let you know what these will be.

Occasionally we find that the actual postage cost is cheaper than charged on the web site, when this happens we refund the difference back to the customer to the original payment method.

Receiving goods

Orders shipped using Royal Mail 48 hour or a courier service will need to be signed for. Please ensure that there will be somebody at the delivery address to sign for the goods or use a different delivery address such as a work's address. If you require the courier's tracking code and you have not received it, please contact us for this information.

UK orders:-

1st class Royal Mail - mainly 1 -2 days but occasionally can take up to 3 days especially during December.

2nd class Royal Mail - 3 - 5 days for delivery.

Returns

We don't want anybody to be unhappy about buying from Black Yak so you are, of course, able to cancel your order at any time before dispatch. If the goods are faulty in any way or we have made a mistake with the order and we are notified within seven days, we will immediately send replacement goods at our expense and refund you the cost of returning the goods to us.

If you wish to exchange any item you may do so within 14 days of receipt of the order. Simply return the item to us in perfect condition with original labels attached and we will dispatch a replacement free of charge for your first exchange. Please let us know by email or phone that you are returning the item so that we can sort out a replacement for you as soon as possible. Please get a proof of postage form from the Post Office or your shipper. Our returns address is: - Black Yak Ltd., Units 3 - 5 Front St. Court, Middleton-on-the-Wolds, Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire, YO25 9TZ.

You also have the right to cancel the order, without reason, within 14 days of the receipt of the order, starting the day following delivery, providing that the goods are returned to us, at your cost, in perfect, resaleable condition. You then have 14 days in which to return the order. In the case that your original order was out of stock and we supplied you with a substitute product the cost of returning the substitute item will be borne by us.

Your payment will be refunded within 14 days of the cancellation of the order. If the goods have not been returned to us within 30 days, we reserve the right to collect the goods and deduct the cost of collection from your refund.
